Jeff and Candice met in the fall of 2009. Candice was on a much-needed vacation visiting friends in Michigan and was looking forward to spending some quality time exploring the scenery and getting some rest and relaxation.
Candice and Jeff met the second day she was there, courtesy of the Jones boys, and the rest as they say is history ... after a few nights out on the town, a hockey game (Candice's first), and a midnight game of darts ... they're connection was undeniable.
When Jeff drove Candice to the airport at the end of her vacation - they didn't know what the future would hold, but knew that there was something incredibly special between the two of them. Even though they were 2,309 miles apart - yes, they both checked - they made it work ... and after a year of long distance dating ... skype sessions every other night ... cross country trips every 3 months ... Jeff proposed to Candice in the beautiful outdoors of the U.P.
